Simgenet SMG411 MPLS Router

SMG411 is a compact IP/MPLS edge router designed for enterprise and service provider networks. It is positioned for access and edge layer deployments where moderate port density and reliable routing performance are required.

SMG411 runs on SMGOS, a network operating system developed by Simgenet. SMGOS enables easy management of routing and network services through an intuitive web-based interface, reducing reliance on complex CLI operations.

SMGOS supports advanced routing protocols including MPLS, MPLS VPN, VRF, BGP, OSPF and RIP, enabling scalable and flexible network architectures at access and aggregation layers. High availability is ensured through Fast Convergence, ECMP and BFD mechanisms, while a broad service set is provided with support for QoS, VPN, PTP/NTP and PPPoE.

With its compact hardware design and PCIe-based expansion capabilities, SMG411 supports flexible Ethernet configurations with lower overall port density, making it suitable for long-term, stable operation in enterprise and service provider environments.
